The Office of Campus Emergency Planning has received numerous requests for templates and information related to Continuity of Operations Planning or COOP.

The University of North Carolina has done extensive work in this area and has a website where additional information is available. Once on this site there are selections for the template listing objectives, essential functions, dependencies (both internal and external), and mitigation strategies. Additionally, you can find examples of pandemic influenza COOP plans. This site also contains a copy of the UNC pandemic flu plan in addition to a site for FAQ's related to COOP planning.
